Nearly 8,000 repatriated after one month of Myawaddy crackdown: Border Guard Force

YANGON: A total of 7,968 foreign nationals have been repatriated to their home countries in the past 30 days since the launch of a crackdown on human traffickers and illegal businesses in Shwe Kokko New City, the Border Guard Force (BGF) in Karen state announced on Friday (March 14).

The well-known casino town is located in Myawaddy township on the Thailand-Myanmar border.
