Sibling doctors arrested over murder cover-up of patient at Japan hospital in Aomori prefecture

AOMORI (Japan News/ANN): In connection with the murder of one patient by another at a hospital in the city of Hachinohe in Japan’s Aomori prefecture in March 2023, prefectural police on Friday (Feb 14) arrested two doctors on suspicion of concealing the cause of the victim’s death.

The two arrested doctor are brothers. The older brother, Takashi Ishiyama, 61, was the director of the hospital at the time and the younger brother, Tetsu Ishiyama, 60, was the primary doctor for the murdered patient.
