Vietnam projected to lead Asean+3 growth with 6.5% in 2025

HANOI: Vietnam will achieve a growth rate of 6.5 per cent in 2025, maintaining its position among the fastest-growing economies in the Asean+3 region, Vietnam News cited the forecast made by Asean+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (Amro) on Thursday (Jan 23).

The projection is lower than the 2024 growth rate of 7.09 per cent posted by the General Statistics Office, but aligns with its target for 2025, which ranges from 6.5 per cent to 8 per cent, said the report.
