BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Following viral posts circulating on social media regarding water supply disruptions and QR code scanning for water bill payments, the Public Works Department (JKR) under the Ministry of Development clarified that this information pertains to a neighbouring country, not in Brunei Darussalam.

The department has urged the public not to circulate this misinformation in order to maintain public order.

For further inquiries or clarification, members of the public are encouraged to contact Talian Darussalam at 123, or visit JKR’s official social media platforms on Instagram at @jkrbrunei and Facebook at Jabatan Kerja Raya Brunei Darussalam. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
