'No HPMV case in Indonesia', but govt still send out alerts to people to remain vigilant of new virus


JAKARTA (Bernama-Antara): The Health Ministry reported no finding of cases of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV), currently spreading in China, and reminded the public to be vigilant, stay calm, and take preventive measures, reported Indonesian News Agency (Antara).

The ministry's spokesperson, Widyawati, noted in a statement on Saturday that the virus spreads widely and quickly, causing a significant spike in cases in northern China.
