Vietnam's e-commerce revenue to surpass a record US$25bil in 2025


HANOI (Xinhua): Vietnam's e-commerce market is projected to surpass US$25 billion by 2025, Vietnam News has cited the Ministry of Industry and Trade data.

Vietnam's B2C e-commerce market has experienced growth of 18-20 per cent in the first ten months of 2024, said the ministry.

A total of 116 foreign suppliers have registered, declared and paid taxes through the electronic portal for foreign suppliers, contributing to a total revenue of 19.8 trillion Vietnamese dong (US$779.4 million).

Direct revenue from declarations via the portal this year in Vietnam has reached 8.7 trillion dong (US$342.4 million), marking a 26 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. - - Xinhua
