Thailand approves US$312mil investment by Foxsemicon subsidiary


BANGKOK (Reuters): Thailand's Board of Investment said on Wednesday it has approved an investment of 10.5 billion baht ($312 million) by a subsidiary of Taiwan's Foxsemicon Integrated Technology.

The subsidiary will build a factory to produce for export high-precision machinery parts and equipment used in the semiconductor industry, the BOI said in a statement. ($1 = 33.68 baht)
