Cambodia aims for 40 per cent electric cars, 70 per cent electric motorcycles by 2050

PHNOM PENH: (Bernama-Xinhua) Cambodia has set ambitious goals to have 40 per cent of its cars and 70 per cent of its motorbikes powered by electricity by 2050, according to Peng Ponea, the Minister of Public Works and Transport.

This initiative is part of the country’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability, reported Xinhua.
