BANGKOK: Hat Yai is the top pick in digital travel platform Agoda’s latest rankings of the most budget-friendly destinations in Asia during August and September, according to its press release on Tuesday (Aug 13).
With several public holidays across the region in the coming months, Agoda analysed booking data between June 15 and July 7 to identify the most affordable destinations for travellers. Hat Yai claimed the top spot, offering an average room rate of just 1,250 baht (US$36).
