Passport-less immigration clearance for bikers by August, cruise and air travellers by December

SINGAPORE: Travellers through Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre will be able to enjoy an even easier and fuss-free immigration process come December.

That is when the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will roll out passport-free immigration clearance across the ferry terminal as part of its push to further automate the process and remove the need for passport checks, the authority said on Wednesday (July 31).
