Vietnam's retail sales, service revenues up 8.7% in 5 months

HANOI: Vietnam's total goods retail sales and consumer service revenues increased by 8.7 per cent year on year in the first five months of this year to more than 2.58 quadrillion Vietnamese dong (US$101.3 billion), according to the latest statistics of the country's General Statistics Office.

During the cited period, the restaurant and accommodation revenues increased 15.1 per cent, and tourism revenues surged 45.1 per cent compared to the same period last year, according to the office.
