Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived in Tokyo on Wednesday (May 22, 2024) for a three-day working visit and to attend the prestigious 29th International Conference on the Future of Asia (Nikkei Conference), where he will deliver a keynote address on Thursday. The private aircraft carrying Anwar touched down at the Haneda International Airport at about 8.30pm local time (7.30pm Malaysian time). He was greeted on arrival by Japan Parliamentary Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Yasushi Hosaka and Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia Katsuhiko Takahashi.
