Cambodia marks King's 71st birthday with blessings, fireworks display


PHNOM PENH: Fireworks were shot into the sky over the Tonle Sap River in front of the Royal Palace here Tuesday (May 14) night to celebrate the 71st birthday of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni.

The dazzling fireworks were displayed for about 20 minutes and their colourful explosions caught the eyes of throngs of well-wishers and strollers on both sides of the river.
