Cambodia arrests trio for trafficking a whopping 186kg of narcotics


PHNOM PENH (Bernama-Xinhua): Cambodia has arrested three locals for trafficking illicit drugs, seizing nearly 186kg of narcotics, the country's Anti-Drug Department (ADP) said in a news release to the media.

The trio - a man and two women - were apprehended last Friday during raids at two locations in the capital Phnom Penh after an investigation, the ADP said, adding that the suspects were between 33 and 47 years old.

"A total of 185.8 kg of ketamine and crystal methamphetamine was confiscated from the suspects,” the ADP said. - Bernama-Xinhua
