QR code-based payment boosts Cambodia-Malaysia links, enhances trade


PHNOM PENH: Malaysia emerged as Cambodia’s 15th-largest trading partner as their bilateral trade surged over 35% in January, according to the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE).

Trade volume between the two nations reached US$46.41 million in the first month of 2024, a 35.2% rise from $34.32 million in January 2023.
