SINGAPORE: A man lied to the police that he was a victim of robbery after he misappropriated S$270,400 entrusted to him in August 2023.

On Feb 14, Lek Tai Yong, 27, was sentenced to six months’ jail after he pleaded guilty to one count of criminal breach of trust.
