Brunei-Singapore army exercise concludes at Penanjong Garrison

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The closing ceremony of Exercise MAJU BERSAMA Series 26/2023 was held at the Fighting in Built-Up Areas Complex, Penanjong Garrison recently.

The exercise was conducted from January 20-25, involving troops from Third Battalion of the Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) and First Battalion of the Singapore Infantry Regiment (1SIR).

Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman and Chief of Army of the Singapore Army Major General David Neo, who officially closed the exercise, were the guests of honour.

RBLF acting field commander, senior officers, officers, personnel and representatives from both the Singapore Army and the RBLF were also present.

The closing ceremony commenced with the inspection of the parade, followed by the handing over of the flag to 1SIR. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
