Over 140,000 Myanmar students register to take 2023-2024 matriculation exam


YANGON: Over 140,000 students registered for the nationwide matriculation examination of Myanmar for the academic year of 2023-2024, U Htay Naung, a deputy director of the Ministry of Education, told Xinhua on Tuesday (Dec 26).

According to the figures, the number of students registered to take the exam this academic year is slightly down compared to the more than 160,000 students recorded last year, he said.

The nationwide matriculation exam for this academic year will be held from March. 11 to March 19 in 2024, according to the Department of Myanmar Examinations. - Xinhua
