Cambodia's economy remains robust in 2023 despite weakening global demand, say experts


PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): Cambodia's economic growth remained strong in 2023 despite weakening global demand and a slowdown in real estate, a government official and economic experts have said.

Economy and Finance Minister Aun Pornmoniroth said the economy was expected to grow by 5.6 per cent in 2023, pushing up the Southeast Asian country's gross domestic product (GDP) to US$32.17 billion.
