Singapore police probe 316 suspected scammers, money mules linked to alleged loss of over RM30mil

SINGAPORE: Over 300 suspected scammers and money mules were rounded up by the police for their alleged involvement in more than 1,000 scam cases, in which victims reportedly lost more than S$8.5 million (RM30 million).

During a two-week islandwide operation, a total of 229 men and 87 women aged between 15 and 73 were rounded up, the police said on Nov 24.
