Belated winter expected next week in upper Thailand

BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Winter is arriving next week, says the Thailand Meteorological Department, acknowledging that there has been a delay this year.

A mass of moderate to relatively strong cold air was expected to descend from November 14 to 20, covering the upper parts of Thailand and bringing an increase in the intensity of cold winds during this period, the department said.
