Asean members pledge to enhance culture and arts cooperation after meeting in Vientiane


VIENTIANE (Bernama-Xinhua): The member states of the Association of South-East Asian Nations (Asean) pledged to enhance their partnership in the field of culture and the arts, aiming to promote the role of Asean culture and the arts for inclusion and sustainability.

According to the Lao national TV report on Wednesday, the topic is under discussion by Asean delegates at the 19th Meeting of Senior Officials Responsible for Culture and Arts and related meetings with dialogue partners from Tuesday to Wednesday, said Xinhua.
