Lawmaker seeks to set up task force to help Filipinos in Israel, Gaza

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): House committee on overseas workers affairs and Kabayan Party-list Representative Ron Salo has asked the government to organise a task force that will assist Filipinos affected by the armed conflict in Israel and nearby areas like Gaza.

In a statement on Tuesday (Oct 10), Salo said he has filed a House resolution for the purpose.
