Record-breaking China set to close biggest Asian Games with another spectacular ceremony

HANGZHOU, China: Hosts China finished with a record 201 gold medals as the curtain comes down on two weeks of triumphs and tears at the Asian Games in Hangzhou on Sunday.

The biggest Asiad ever will wrap up later in the day with a closing ceremony at the 80,000-capacity Olympic stadium, with China handing over to Japan for 2026.
