Myanmar cops make big breakthrough in war against drugs - 254kg ICE worth more than RM4.6mil seized in eastern Shan state

YANGON (Xinhua): Myanmar authorities have seized 254 kg of Methamphetamine (ICE) in eastern Shan state, according to the country's Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control.

Acting on a tip-off, the anti-narcotic police searched a dump truck in Tachileik township on Sept. 20 and confiscated the 254 kg of ICE and 2 kg of Ketamine with a total value of 2.049 billion kyats (US$1 million / RM4.65 million), the agency said late on Sunday.
