Cambodia FDI grows 42% in H1 in spite of downturn

PHNOM PENH (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Although the current global financial situation is weak, foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows in the first half of 2023 increased 41.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2022.

Based on the outcome of the Council of Ministers’ plenary session on September 20, the first half FDI inflow showed remarkable growth compared to a mere 0.4 per cent hike in 2022, despite the tightening of the global financial situation.
