Brunei religious authorities flag cleaning brush and revoke pastry kitchen’s halal certification

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei's Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) has flagged bristles of the Skitto Clean brand cleaning brush product to be made out of pigs.

The MoRA’s Halal Food Control Division, Department of Syariah Affairs conducted an inspection onto a business premise which sold the products after receiving tip-off from the public, and confirmed the findings from tests made onto the product by the Department of Scientific Services.
