MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): Eight to eleven tropical cyclones will likely affect the Philippines for the remainder of the year, the state weather bureau said.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Chris Perez said two or three tropical cyclones are still expected in August.
