Singapore cuts 2023 economic growth forecast to 0.5-1.5% on weak trade outlook


SINGAPORE (AFP): Singapore on Friday cut its economic growth forecast for this year owing to weak demand from key export markets including China and the United States.

The Southeast Asian nation's performance is often seen as a barometer of the global environment because of its reliance on international trade.
