Thailand booked over 15 million foreign arrivals in Jan-July period; Malaysians top list of visitors

BANGKOK: Thailand recorded 15.32 million foreign arrivals between January and July this year, government spokesperson Traisuree Taisaranaku said in a statement.

In the first seven months of the year, foreign tourists spent 638 billion baht (US$18.38 billion), she said. The total number generated from both local and international travellers was 1.08 trillion baht, as reported by local and foreign media.
