MEDAN (The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network): The Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministry will turn the Air Force’s Soewondo base in Medan, North Sumatra, into a trade centre.

Minister Hadi Tjahjanto said that the area, which has been serving as an Aviation Operations Safety Area (KKOP) is regarded as a hindrance to investment.
