BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Pathum Thani Governor Narongsak Osatanakorn, who had led a heroic global mission to help save young footballers stranded in a flooded cave, died on Wednesday (June 21) at the age of 58.
He was suffering from colon cancer and died at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok. His funeral will be held at Wat Phra Si Mahathat in Bang Khen district.
