Cyclone Mocha destroys over 62,800 acres of cultivated crops in Myanmar, says govt data


YANGON, May 28, Eleven Media Group/ANN: Cyclone Mocha destroyed more than 62,800 acres of crops across Myanmar, and more than 56,000 acres of spring rice, spring sesame and green bean from Magway Region were destroyed, announced the Ministry of Information.

A total of 62,836 acres of cultivated crops in Rakhine State, which was hit by Cyclone Mocha, and Magway, Mandalay, Sagaing and Ayeyawady regions were destroyed.
