Myanmar expects to export over 2.1 million tonnes of rice in coming fiscal year


YANGON (Xinhua): Myanmar expects to export more than 2 million tonnes of rice in the coming 2023-24 fiscal year, U Ye Min Aung, president of Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF), told Xinhua on Tuesday (March 21).

Myanmar exported over 1.28 million tonnes of rice while its broken rice export hit more than 812,488 tonnes during the first 11 months of the fiscal year 2022-2023 from April last year to the end of February this year, according to the MRF data.
