Vietnam expects full tourism recovery by 2025


HANOI, March 12 (Xinhua): Vietnam's tourism sector is projected to return to pre-pandemic levels in 2025, the local newspaper Vietnam News have reported.

The industry accounted for 9.2 per cent of the South-East Asian country's annual gross domestic product in 2019, with a record 18 million international arrivals and 720 trillion Vietnamese dong (US$30.2 billion) in revenue, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
