Brunei sets up humanitarian fund for Turkiye and Syria

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah has consented for the setting up of the Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Humanitarian Fund, and the National Committee for Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Humanitarian Fund.

The committee met on Tuesday (Feb 14) at Digadong Hall, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), where Minister of Religious Affairs Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Ustaz Badaruddin Awang Othman and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Nazmi Mohamad attended as special advisors.
