SINGAPORE, Feb 11 (The Straits Times/ANN): The Republic has become the second member to ratify the World Trade Organisation’s (WTO) agreement to protect the world’s oceans.

On Friday, Singapore formally accepted the treaty – the first multilateral trade agreement that focuses on environmental sustainability – becoming the first coastal state to do so.
