Thai beauty queen says no bias from new owner of Miss Universe

BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Thailand's Miss Universe contestant has denied claims that new Thai ownership of the beauty-pageant brand would give her an unfair advantage in the competition.

Anna Sueangam-iam, 24,(pic) rejected the allegations during an interview in the US with pageant analyst Brian Javier on Sunday (jan 8).
