Laos and South Korea to expand job opportunities for Lao nationals

VIENTIANE, Jan 2 (Laotian Times): The Laos Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last week in Vientiane to enable the seasonal employment of Lao workers in South Korea.

The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Department of Employment under the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Anousone Khamsingsavath, and the Mayor of the Gyeongsangbuk-do district in South Korea, Ki Chang Kwon.
