Myanmar hosts first meeting of the Myanmar-Russia joint anti-terrorism panel


YANGON (Eleven Media News/Asia News Network): The first meeting of the Myanmar-Russia Joint Anti-Terrorism Committee was held on Nov 30 at the Hilton Hotel in Naypyidaw, announced the information team of the State Administration Council (SAC).

The meeting was attended by Lt-Gen Mo Myint Tun from the Office of the Chief of Staff (Army) and senior officers from the Myanmar Tatmadaw, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Russian Ground Forces Colonel-General Kim Alexey Rostislavovich and senior officers of the Russian Armed Forces.
