Cricket ice cream among Thai ‘future foods’ vying for Apec leaders’ menu

BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Twenty-one new Thai dishes created by start-ups are competing to be selected for the menu served to world leaders at the Apec Summit this month.

The best four dishes, which have been created as sustainable “future foods”, will be chosen by a panel of experts judging the “Plate to Planet” competition, the government announced on Thursday (Nov 3).
