TAIPEI (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): Taiwan’s National Palace Museum has admitted to breaking three Ming and Qing Dynasty artefacts – two bowls and a plate – said to be worth more than a combined US$77 million ($108.8 million).

The pieces were broken in three separate incidents over the past 18 months, but news of the damages emerged only last week after it was brought up by an opposition legislator.
