Focus on economic development despite pandemic and works towards Vision 2035, says Brunei Sultan in birthday speech

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 16 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei king Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah called for strategies to help the Sultanate recover following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economy.

“These strategies are necessary as we are getting closer to the Brunei Vision 2035. The country must work on its goals without delay, including putting emphasis on economic progress,” said His Majesty during a titah in conjunction of his 76th birthday celebration yesterday.
