Philippines' FDI net inflows up 48.3 per cent in April and netting more than RM4 billion in funds


MANILA, July 11 (Xinhua): Foreign direct investment (FDI) net inflows into the Philippines reached US$989 million (RM4.1 billion) in April, 48.3 per cent higher than the amount recorded in April 2021, the Philippine central bank has announced.

This positive development brought the FDI net inflows for the first four months of the year to US$3.4 billion, higher than the US$3.1 billion net inflows in January-April 2021, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said.
