JAKARTA, July 2 (Xinhua): Statistics Indonesia (BPS) has announced the inflation stood at 4.35 per cent year on year in June, the highest in five years, exceeding the upper limit of Bank Indonesia's target range of 4 per cent.

The June inflation rate was compared to 3.35 per cent in May. Head of BPS Margo Yuwono said monthly inflation in June was 0.61 per cent month to month, up from May's 0.40 percent.
