Litterbugs beware, Brunei govt will impose a BND300 (RM950) for those who throw rubbish everywhere

BABDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 4 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe) issued a BND300 compound fine on an individual on June 1 for disposing trash at a public premise in Kampong Batu Marang.

Rinosophiaan bin Tajuddin, caught on CCTV tossing trash at the public premise, was fined under Chapter 30, Section 12(1) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act.
