Cambodia's international trade volume hits over US$13 billion in Q1


In 2021, Cambodia's trade volume hit $48 billion, an increase of 28.2 per cent compared to the previous year. Exports accounted for $19.30 billion, an increase of 5.3 per cent, while imports amounted to $28.70 billion, an increase of 50.3 per cent. - Phnom Penh Post/ANN

PHNOM PENH, April 16 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Cambodia’s international trade volume reached more than US$13 billion in the first quarter of this year, an increase of more than nine per cent compared to the same period last year. The Kingdom's exports also increased by more than 25 per cent.

According to the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Cambodia's trade volume in the first three months hit US$13.1 billion, an increase of 9.1 per cent over the same period in 2021 when $12 billion was recorded.
