Lazada launches foundation to empower South-East Asian women, youths in digital economy


SINGAPORE (Xinhua): South-East Asia's leading online shopping company Lazada Group has launched a foundation to provide educational opportunities for women and youths in the digital economy field in six South-East Asia countries, the group announced here on Monday (April 11).

Lazada Foundation, an initiative established by Lazada Group in 2022, aims to award scholarships and provide growth opportunities to empower women and youths across South-East Asia, and secure education opportunities in the digital economy for them and close the digital divide, said Li Chun, Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Group.
