Brunei working on digital payment gateway


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Brunei Darussalam is establishing a digital payment gateway to ease digital payments in the Sultanate and facilitate international transactions, according to Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin LiewAbdullah at the 18th Legislative Council (LegCo) meeting on Wednesday (March 2)

He said this in response to queries about a digital payment hub to allow seamless and instant transactions especially for payments coming into Brunei by LegCo members Mohimin Johari @ Jahari and Khairunnisa Ash’ari.
