Cambodia announces US$28mil handed to pregnant workers as assistance; 400 Omicron cases reported on Sunday (Feb 13)

PHNOM PENH, Feb 13 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The government had provided financial support of over 113 billion riel (US$28 million) to pregnant workers through the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) as of 2021, according to Minister of Labour and Vocational Training Ith Samheng.

Speaking during an annual meeting of the NSSF held virtually on February 11, Samheng said NSSF had provided financial support to 282,073 pregnant workers who had delivered 284,016 babies.
